Jax Taylor still adapt to the idea of Brittany Cartwright Moving on after their split – especially if he is with the man from the Brawny paper towel ads.
“The goal is to go (to us coparenting well). It’s a battle. Every day is different,” Cartwright, 36, explained on Monday chapter, May 26, Lala Kent‘S. Podcast “Give them lala”. “But on the whole – as, whenever we just talk about (our son), Cruz – it’s fine.”
The latest issue for Cartwright Fu Taylor, 45, asks for her personal life. “I did that brawny ad and he asked me if I dated one of the brawny men,” he noted. “It’s just a lot of unusual things.”
After Kent, 34, quoted that cartwright is “dating all” the men From the ad, she noted how “strange” it was for Taylor to ask his disengaged wife.
“He has to let go of much of the control that he believes he has for me,” said Cartwright. “But whenever it comes to Cruz, that’s the two of our main goals. I hope it gets a little better one day.”
Bravo viewers were introduced to Taylor’s romance and Cartwright on VanderPump Rules. The couple documented their rocky way to wedding, even filming their 2019 nuptials for the show. Taylor and Cartwright announced their departure from VanderPump Rules In 2020. After taking a break from reality TV, Taylor and Cartwright expanded their family with Cruz, now 4, in 2021. (Cartwright revealed earlier this year that Cruz was diagnosed with autism.)
Taylor and Cartwright returned to the magnifying glass on Bravo’s The valleywho performed for the first time shortly after they announced their separation last year. In June 2024, Taylor went to a 30 -day treatment program to tackle its ongoing mental health battles. Cartwright eventually filed for divorce in 2024. After suggesting larger battles, Taylor revealed earlier this year Went to rehab for cocaine bondage.
“I’ve been in and out of using cocaine for a while. I wouldn’t use it every day. Months we would draw,” he said only Weekly US in March. “And then I would do it as this week, maybe twice a month or three times a month. It became very bad nonetheless. When the divorce started, I felt I was doing it leisurely.”
Cartwright acknowledged, for her part, that his new normal with Taylor will change a big for them both.
“It’s still fresh at the moment. We are still re -liveing everything from last summer too,” explained Monday. “If we are fighting, if you don’t get together with the person you are in touch with it, it makes it extremely difficult. But I’m trying to do my best and put that crap aside and do whatever I think is best for Cruz.”
According to Cartwright, she still has moments where she loses reaching out to Taylor. “He was like my best friend because I was with him all the time,” he added. “He was the person I said everything on. That was a kind of wonder having to stop telling him everything.”
