Kohli was finally lifted the IPL trophy with Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) on June 3. But even at that time of celebration that came after 17 years, Virat Kohli called the test cricket much higher than his IPL triumph. The RCB icon had stated that Victoria IPL was special, but it was still five levels below the test cricket. This observation caught the attention of Jasprit Bumrah.
Prior to the five -party test series between India and England, Jasprit Bumrah has now reacted to Kohli’s statement. The star Pealer has shared a raw and realistic view on what his former Indian captain means for current cricketers, especially fast bowls.
Bumrah did not dismiss Kohli’s feeling, but he made it clear that the trip of each cricketter is different and unique. He said that the physical toll of the red ball cricket is a serious concern for the fast bowls. With the tension that bodies pass, many bowls are forced to choose the formats cautiously.

The Indian Superestrella emphasized that this is not always a passion, but sometimes it is survival, professional longevity and family responsibilities. Bumrah acknowledged that Test Cricket is a format that gains unmatched respect, but not all players can sustain it.
Jasprit Bumrah told Dinesh Karthik in Star Sports: “It is up to the individual. They have a career, and the bowls do not hide behind a bat. There is a lot of tension in the body. You have a family to take care and make money. If sometimes their bodies do not allow them to play Click on red dance and still want to contribute, it is better to be smart.”
He further explained that fast bowls, in particular, cannot afford to ignore what their body tells them and that is where they have to make smart decisions, including sometimes apart from the format, and this is not a weak movement, but a wise man for the future of his family and his family.
Bumrah explained: “Everyone is different. I grew up watching the test cricket, which is the highlight for me. I judge myself based on -in performances in the longest format. The current generation is different. The Cricket T20 is and you have different leagues.
The mentality and the thought process have changed. You can’t judge fast bowls. The test cricket is the purest format, but everyone is different. “”
However, Bumrah encouraged the young generation to adopt the test cricket. He believes that real respect comes from the highest level in the hardest format, and this is the traditional format of the game.
But at the same time, the Indian Pealer has accepted that the modern game offers many paths such as T20 Leagues, Hate Cricket and several franchise tournaments like T10 Leagues, and that players now choose these opportunities that are better for their physical form and financial safety.
He signed by saying, “As Kohli said, you will gain respect competing in this format. I will encourage young cricketers to play test cricket and gain respect. If you want to respect the whole world, the red ball cricket should be your motivation. If you like the fast cricket, the T20 and the cricket hate are the way to go.”
