The first Pacer Jasprit Bumrah and the veteran Batsman Karun Nair were involved in a warm confrontation on Sunday, April 13 at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi.
The exchange between Jasprit Bumrah and Karun Nair took place during the 29th Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 party between Mumbai Indians and Delhi capitals.

Karun Nair hits Jasprit Bumrah
Nair finally had an opportunity in Delhi’s capitals by playing XI in the middle of his red form after heating the bench in the first games of the Indian Premier League 2025.
It had an instant impact on the bat and had a sensational touch. Nair showed an aggressive smoothie from the outset and kept Mumbai Indians under tremendous pressure.
Nair took the best bowling in the world – Jasprit Bumrah – to the cleaners and broke 18 runs in one. Above all, he was the one who marked the most for any Indian batter against Bumrah in an IPL.
In the meantime, there was a collision between Nair and Bumrah in the sixth ball of the sixth. Nair played a complete launch of Bumrah towards the deep square leg and took off to run.
While completing the first race, Nair crashed on Bumrah’s back, near the end of the non-another. Nair realized immediately and apologized as he returned to a double.
Bumrah lost his freshness after the incident, as he saw himself saying something to Karun nair furiously during the beverage pause. He then saw Nair telling things to Hardik Pandya, who saw him telling him to calm down. Looking at it, the ex -patron of the Mumbai Indians, Rohit Sharma, saw himself making a hilarious face and saying something to Nair.

In the meantime, Nair completed his fifty in 22 balls, which was his fastest story in the history of the IPL. He also became the second Delhi Capitals batter after Jake Fraser-Mcgurk reached about fifty power inside Powerplay. Above all, Nair’s last score at the IPL was returned in 2018 during his time with Kings XI Punjab (now Punjab Kings).

Speaking during Midnings’ pause after Mumbai Indians published on 205/5 on the board, Ryan Ricelton said that the pitch was a bit sticky. Said:
“Wicket was a bit sticky in front. Tilak and Naman did a phenomenal work and have given us a competitive total.
“I am still learning. It was good to get one in my legs to get confidence. There is a little change for us and, in hope, we will defend it.
Ryan Ricelton also hoped that the pitch would not change much to the second post, and added that they are happy to return to Jasprit Bumrah. Said:
“Hopefully it does not change too much. The nature of the wick is that it will become slower and lower as the game progresses. Jasprit is a world-class player. So happy to return it. Nervous to stay against him with the angle with which bowls.”
