“They will have this beautifully painted background and then the actors will step on these steps. They will be painted so that it looks two dimensions of the audience angle. It looks similar to a painting,” said Ritter. “Suddenly – at the same time – they’re all coming to life. It’s so magical. It’s a very effective optical illusion. It’s all different art styles, too. There are sculptures and paintings, but the talent level of the artists and the discipline of the actors who can stand so incredibly is amazing.”
