“Working on this, I was physically tired, at this point in the journey, but I was so mentally and excited to be creating,” said Swift.
The singer explained that she joined her self-described “mentor” Max Martin and Shell for the new entry. They have previously collaborated on her popular songs like “I knew you were trouble,” “Bad Blood,” and “Blank Space.”
“We’ve made songs I’m so proud of,” he added. “We’ve never made an album before where it’s just the three of us. It felt like catching lightning in a bottle, really.”
