The Japanese aircraft headed from Tokyo to Texas was to make an emergency after the passenger tried to open one of the door during the flight.
The whole Nippon Airways (AAA) flight was redirected to Seattle a few hours after departure on Saturday, “from a naughty passenger,” the airline said.
Police Port Seattle said the media reported about a man who “tried to open the exit door during the flight.”
Police said a man who was not identified was “had a medical crisis” and other passengers and flight crew had to be restrained.
He was later taken to the hospital. It is unclear whether he will face any charges.
“The safety of our passengers and the crew is our main priority, and we applaud the efforts of local law enforcement agencies to support them,” Anna said in the statement.
While the plane was waiting at the asphalt of Seattle-Takom International Airport, the second person was removed from the flight for “naughty behavior”, the authorities said.
Flight data indicates that the aircraft reached the destination, George W. Bush Intercontinental Airport in Houston, on Saturday at about 12:40 local time (17:40 GMT) – four hours after the scheduled arrival time.
This is the latter in the line of similar incidents.

Last November, a man who tried to open the plane door during the American Airlines flight was restrained and associated with passengers with a tape.
And in November 2023, nine Asiana Airlines flight passengers were sent to the hospital with respiratory difficulties after the man successfully opened the door out of the aircraft before he landed at the South Korean airport.
