Jake Paul, Zuckerberg and Musk: Who’s at Trump’s Inauguration?

See: Tech CEOs, Celebrities and Presidents – See Who’s at Trump’s Inauguration

Along with the former presidents, family members and US officials you’d expect to see at Donald Trump’s inauguration, there were also plenty of familiar faces for less traditional reasons.

We saw OpenAI CEO Sam Altman taking a selfie with influential brothers Logan and Jake Paul, and controversial Irish MMA fighter Conor McGregor talking to British politician Nigel Farage.

Also in attendance are tech billionaires such as Meta’s Mark Zuckerberg and Amazon’s Jeff Bezos, media mogul Rupert Murdoch and FIFA president Gianni Infantino.

We’ll continue to reveal famous and unusual names in the crowd as the day progresses.

Tech billionaires

Trump’s close and controversial friendship with X owner Elon Musk is well known, but Musk isn’t the only tech executive at Monday’s inauguration.

Mark Zuckerberg, who announced earlier this month that Meta would get rid of fact-checkers and “dramatically reduce the amount of censorship” on its platforms, is also in attendance.

Influencers

Another tech billionaire in attendance is Sam Altman, CEO of OpenAI, who was photographed in a group selfie with boxer and influencer Jake Paul and Paul’s brother, wrestler and influencer Logan.

Rupert Murdoch, chairman emeritus of News Corporation, which owns Fox News, the Wall Street Journal, the Sun and the Times, is in attendance with his fifth wife, Elena Zhukova.

Murdoch, 93, married a retired Russian biologist last year in a ceremony at his California vineyard.

Politicians and former presidents

As usual at presidential inaugurations, many former US presidents are in attendance.

Much has been made in the media about Michelle Obama attending Trump’s first inauguration in 2017 without accompanying her husband Barack to Monday’s event.

Along with Obama, who was in power until the start of Trump’s last term, there are former presidents, including Bill Clinton and George W. Bush.

Another familiar face is former British Prime Minister Boris Johnson.

When Johnson took office in 2019, Trump called him a “good man,” adding: “They call him the British Trump.”
