The 58-year-old Baterbiy was a super-heavyweight champion for his IBA for his career and won the Elite-1 MMA Greatweight Championship when he tried his hand at mixed martial arts. He was 77-10 as a boxer and 17-10 as a MMA fighter.
After he hung his gloves, Butterbin coped with a chronic pain that prevented his mobility and put it in a wheelchair for about nine years. He worked with WWE Legend “Diamond” Dallas Page Program to return his ability to get up and walk.
