Chicago fire‘S. Jake Lockett Publicly addressed his upcoming exit from the series and shared sweet moments behind the scenes from his time on a set.
“Although I don’t know exactly what the future looks like, I know it won’t be exactly what it was and I’m going to miss the hell out of that,” admitted Lockett, 40, by Instagram On Monday, April 28, confirming his departure before season 14. “So much pride in this journey.”
The actor, who plays Sam Carver on the NBC series, shared a video containing seconds with his Chicago fire Brothers, including silly clips between taking. “Almost forgotten this is the whole point,” Lockett wrote alongside the Montage.

“It has been an honor to bring Sam to life and to all of you, thank you for the love and support over the last three years,” he continued.
Lockett then highlighted his fellow -Casters and the crew, writing, “And most importantly, the people I was on the ground with day and night … Thanks for the family you have and times you have been and you will be there for me.”
He assured his friends, “If you are not one of these clips, there will be more to follow. So many dear memories.”
