On the 2nd of the fifth and final test between India and England it turned out to be an adventure, as 15 doctors dramatically fell to the oval. With the encounters, India had a slender advantage, leading 52 runs with the 75/2 reading score in its second post.

Yasasvi Jaiswal, who showed resilience and composition, remained unbeaten in 51. The young workshop, however, had slices of luck next to him, who fell twice by the campers of England. Despite these reproach, he confidently anchored the entries of India. India lost KL Rahul and debutant Sai Sudharsan Barat, but Jaiswal said that visitors closed the day with a positive note.

At the beginning of the day, England resumed its first entrances after a rainy start, and managed to capture a brief advantage, thanks to a Harry Brook Gritty 53. The hosts, however, collapsed under the pressure of the Indian sewing attack.

Mohammed Siraj and Prasidh Krishna were the stars with India’s ball. Both claimed four doctors on the part, dismantling the average and lower English order with precise and persistent bowls. For Krishna, 4/62 figures marked their best return test to date. In the meantime, Siraj recorded his name in record books, becoming the main wick in the Anderson-Tyndulkar Trophy series.

With India now maintaining a narrow advantage and two full days of cricket still ahead, the test is still fine. Both teams will be eager to take advantage of the impulse, as they fight not only for a victory, but also for the pride of the series.
