Jackie died in May 1994, just a few days after she confirmed in a press release that she prevented all treatment.

“John and Jackie, they were very close,” said Carole. “It was heartbreaking and it was a very hard time for him, but it was almost, I would say, franchising (after Jackie’s death). “It’s a big family, and like all big families, there’s a lot of politics and quirks you have to learn. Perhaps John’s family is bigger than other families,” Carole admitted. “There was a higher expectation and he didn’t play (Carolyn) of the game. She didn’t suck for anyone, no one in his family.”

Her mother was a single mother picking up three women in a very working class neighborhood. I think we feel like a real sisterhood because of it. We were as outside.”
