Cristiano Ronaldo responded to the imitation of Rasmus Hojlund of his famous celebration of La Siu, saying that “it was not an act of contempt” after the victory at Denmark’s house by 1-0 on Portugal on Thursday.
The Manchester United striker copied the iconic celebration of the old Red Devil celebration after scoring a late winner in Copenhagen in the first half of the quarter of the League of Nations.
Hojlund insisted that the celebration did not make fun of Ronaldo, who the Dane called his “idol”, and the 40 -year -old said he was not offended by the incident.
“For me, it’s not a problem,” Ronaldo said. “I know it wasn’t an act of contempt. I am smart enough to realize -me.
“Not only him, around the world, various athletes celebrate me.
“For me, it is an honor, but I hope I can see my celebration tomorrow (Sunday).”

In front of Denmark’s trip to Lisbon for the last eight seconds of Sunday, Hojlund said: “It is (Ronaldo) such a great impact on me and on my football career. Maybe it’s a bit ambivalent, but to score against him and Portugal, it’s huge.
“I remember scoring a free kick in 2011 when I went to see the game, and since then I have been a great fan of Cristiano.”
The winners of Portugal and Denmark will face Italy or Germany in the semifinal of the League of Nations.
The Germans advanced 2-1 to Dortmund after the goals of Tim Kleindienst and Leon Goretzka secured the victory in Milan.
