Strikes in Gaza City come as Israel states that it is preparing to strengthen its military campaign against Hamas

At least 33 Palestinians were killed and dozens of injured in two Israeli strokes at a crowded restaurant and the market on the same street in Gaza, physicians and the Ministry of Health Hamas.

Graphic videos posted on social networks showed that the bodies fell at the tables in the Thailand restaurant, in the Northern Roman district, which also acted as a community kitchen.

The footage from the neighboring market showed a young child with a backpack that was dead on the street.

Israeli military said they considered the reports.

Earlier, hospitals stated that at least 59 people were killed in the attacks from Tuesday, most of them in two schools who act as a shelter for displaced families.

The strikes come as Israel states that it is preparing to strengthen and expand its military campaign against Hamas after the 19 months of the war.

Two strikes on Al -Vakhda Street in Rymal – one of the busiest gas malls – occurred almost simultaneously on Wednesday, about 100 m (330 feet).

The shots from the scene shortly thereafter showed the wounded people transported on chairs and in the back of cars.

A woman who took the baby in her arms and accompanied two more children, reported Reuters that they were at Thailand’s restaurant when he had been hit.

“Everyone died,” she said. “Blood was like a lake, oh my baby, blood swimming pools.”

Photos shared by local activists who could not immediately check have shown a number of bodies. They seem to have a boy who selling coffee, two parents and their young son, as well as a market seller sitting near his small rack.

The Palestinian journalist Yahya Sobeih was also killed, his colleagues said, only a few hours after his wife gave birth to his first child.

In another video, the owner of the neighboring Palmyra Abu Saleh restaurant said that many children, the elderly and passers -by were killed.

Addressing the Israeli military, he asked, “What do you want to achieve? You have not bombed a single fighter and not in weapons. You just beat civilians.”

The Thailand Restaurant was destroyed during the last year of Israeli ground operation at Al-Shifa’s neighboring hospital, but it was recently restored using tents and improvised structures.

In addition to selling basic dishes, the restaurant also prepared hundreds of hot dishes daily, so that humanitarian organizations spread to poor and displaced people.

The Gaza Media Media Media has accused Israeli military personnel of war crimes, “intentionally targeting civilian residents and displaced people” of four individual incidents for 24 hours.

Hamas accused Israeli military of intentionally targeting civilians

Women and children were among the 33 people who died when Abu-Abu Yumeiz school was defeated twice on Tuesday in the refugee camp, Civil Defense Agency Hamas reports.

On Wednesday, witness Ali al-Shakra stated that there were 300 families at the school and that the strike effect was like an “earthquake”.

The Israeli military said it was impressed by “terrorists operating at the Hamas Center.

On Wednesday morning, the military had not yet commented on the strike at the al-Karam school in the Eastern neighborhood of Tufa in Gaza, which, according to civil defense, killed another 15 people.

This is against the background of international condemnation of Israel’s plans to expand and strengthen its position against Hamas.

Israeli officials said they include enthusiasm for the entire territory indefinitely, forcibly displacing the Palestinians to the South, and taking on the distribution of assistance with private companies, despite the UN protests and its humanitarian partners.

On Monday, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said his safety office decided to “strong” to destroy Hamas and rescue the rest of the hostages. He said that 2.1 million gas population “would be moved to defend it” and that the troops “will not enter and go out.”

On March 2, Israel turned off all the gas supplies and resumed its offensive two weeks after the collapse of a two -month ceasefire, claiming that he put pressure on Hamas to release 59 other hostages.

Updated Israeli strikes and ground operations have already led to hundreds of victims and the movement of approximately 423,000 people, approximately 70% of gas, located under Israeli evacuation orders, within the Israeli zone intended “without an entry” or both.

The help agencies also warned that mass starvation is inevitable if the blockade does not end.

The UN has stated that Israel is obliged to provide food and medical materials for the Gaza States in accordance with international law. Israel said he fulfills international law and does not have a lack of assistance because thousands of cargoes entered the gas during the ceasefire.

The Prime Minister of the Palestinian Administration, Mohammad Mustafa, who is on the occupied West Bank, said the BBC that the situation in Gaza was a “real catastrophe”.

“It can’t go on. This is a siege, hunger. Neither water, nor electricity nor hope,” he said.

Mustafa urged the international community to intensify efforts to conclude a new transaction to cease fire and release of hostages between Israel and Hamas, warning: “People die every day in Gaza, and that should no longer happen.”

An Israeli official said on Monday that the extended offensive would not start after US President Donald Trump’s visit to the region was next week providing what he called Hamas’s “window” to agree with the agreement.

However, on Tuesday, a senior official Hamas Bassem said that there was no point in negotiating, while Israel continued what he called “the war”.

The Israeli military launched a campaign to destroy Hamas in response to an unprecedented cross -border attack on October 7, 2023, which killed about 1,200 people and took 251 people hostage.

At least 52,653 people have been killed in Gaza ever since, including 2545 after the Israeli offensive, the Ministry of Health of the territory reports.
