Two leading Israeli law organizations have stated that Israel’s behavior in the war is a genocide against the Palestinian population.
B’tselem and human rights doctors and Israel published on Monday separate research on the basis of research over the last 21 months of the conflict.
Organizations operating in Israel for decades said in a joint statement that “in these dark times it is especially important to call things by their name” and “calling this crime to stop immediately.”
The Israeli Government’s press -secretary said he strongly dismissed the allegations of genocide who first acted in human rights groups in Israel.
“Our defense makes you focus on terrorists and never civilians. Hamas is responsible for suffering in the newspaper,” David Menzer said.
At a press conference in Jerusalem on Monday, B’tselem Executive Director Julia Novak said the report of her organization “the one we never imagined what we needed to write”.
The document on 88 pages is said: “Expertise of Israel’s policy in the Gaza Strip and its horrible results, as well as statements by senior Israeli politicians and military commanders about the targets of the attack, leads us to a clear conclusion that Israel is accepting co -actions to intentionally destroy the Palestinian Society in the Gaza Strip.”
In its 65-page reportIsraeli human rights doctors (PHRI) said his legal analysis, focused on health, found that Israel was aimed at the gas health infrastructure “thus calculated and systematically.”
“The data shows the intentional and systematic dismantling of the health and conservation systems of Gaza – through targeted attacks on hospitals, obstacles and evacuation, as well as murder and maintenance of healthcare personnel,” the statement reads.
D -Rus Guy Shalev, Executive Director of the PHRI, said: “Silence before the genocide is not an option. We want to emphasize: to resist genocide not only responsibility for legal and political institutions. The confrontation of IT requires urgent actions by the world health community.”
On October 7, 2023, the organizations found a “horrific and criminal attack by Hamas” on Israel, which caused fear and collective injury among Israelis.
However, in response to the attack, they claimed that the Israeli government conducted a campaign based on “promoting extremist ideologies and Palestinians’ degumanization”.
They said it was a link to the language used from political and military leaders, to soldiers fighting on earth, who called all Palestinians in the newspaper responsible.
Free came to the conclusion that the actions he determined “not by chance, but part of the deliberate policy aimed at the Palestinians as a group”, and thus performing at least three actions determined in the 1948 Convention on the Prevention and Punishment of the Genocide Crime, to which Israel is signing.
A number of international rights organizations, UN human rights experts and scientists have accused Israel of committing genocide in gas.
The International Court (CU) also studies the South African case, claiming that Israeli troops commit genocide against Palestinians in Gaza.
Israel severely denied the accusation and called the case “completely unjustified” and on the basis of “prejudice and false claims”.
D -R’s frantic told the BBC that Phri and B’tselem were concerned that organizations and their staff could be subjected to verbal or physical violence in Israel in response to their reports.
“But we hope people will listen to what we say,” he added.
Yuli Novak of B’tselem stated that the process of coming to the conclusion that Israel was carried out by genocide.
“To really understand that your country, your team, actually performs genocide, is a very harsh mental and personal process,” she said.
“It violates something very simple in your understanding of who we are.”
Israel launched its war in Gaza in retaliation for Hamas attack on October 7, 2023, which killed about 1,200 people and led to 251 people taken hostage.
Since then, Israeli attacks have killed more than 59,900 gas, the Ministry of Health Hamas reports. The figures of the ministry quote the UN and others as the most reliable source of statistics available to the victims.
