The world’s leading genocide Association has stated that Israel is making genocide in Gaza.
The resolution adopted by the International Association of Scientists Genocide (IAGS) states that the behavior of Israel is in line with the legal definition of the UN Convention on Genocide.
On the three pages of IAGS presents the litany of the actions that have taken Israel during the 22-month war, which he acknowledges that he makes genocide, war crimes and crimes against humanity.
IAGS is the world’s largest professional genocide association and includes a number of Holocaust experts. Out of their 500 members, 28% took part in the vote and 86% of those who voted supported the resolution.

The Israeli Ministry of Foreign Affairs said the report was based on “Hamas’s lie” and bad studies, calling it “embarrassment for the legal profession”. The secretary -secretary added that it was Israel that is the victim of the genocide.
Israel regularly denied that his actions in Gaza are a genocide and says they are justified as a means of self -defense.
IAGS scientists say that while on October 7, 2023, Hamas’s attack – which about 1,200 people were killed and 251 took the hostage – was the crime itself, the Israel’s response was directed not only against Hamas, but also aimed at the entire population of Gaza.
The 1948 Genocide Convention, which was adopted after the massacre of Nazi Germany, defines genocide as crimes committed “with the intention of destroying, completely or partly, national, ethnic, racial or religious group.”
A number of leading law organizations, including two Israeli organizationsThey also said they believe that Israel is performing genocide.
The UN and a number of Western countries have stated that they will only consider the ruling in court, that the genocide is happening as authoritative.
The UN Supreme Court, the International Court, is currently considering the South Africa case in 2023, claiming that Israel is making genocide. The CU has not yet decided on this issue and gave Israel the extension by January 2026 to submit its defense.
Israel accused the case of anti -Semitic motivations, calling it a “slander of blood”, citing historical accusations that Jewish communities are ritually killing Christian children.
IAGS claims that their resolution has nothing to do with any case outlined in an international court.
On Monday, the Ministry of Health Hamas said 63,557 people were killed and 160,660 were injured during the war. The number of the ministry is widely considered reliable, but they do not distinguish civilians and militants.
