Israel is running the first blow on Beirut since the cessation of Hezbollah fire

Israel conducted the first air strike on the southern suburbs of Beirut, where Hatsbala was founded, as the ceasefire with the group began in November.

The Israeli military said on Friday, which was used by Hatsbalai, suffered from the drone storage unit, after a warning of the evacuation that caused panic.

The attack occurred a few hours after two rockets were released from South Lebanon towards Northern Israel. Israel said he had intercepted one rocket and the other could not cross the border.

Hezbollah said she was not involved. Israel said the attack was a “violation” of ceasefire, while President Lebanon Joseph Aun also said the Israel’s attack was “violation of the agreement”.

The strike occurred after the Israeli military issued a warning about evacuation for the building in the Khadat district in the capital of Lebanon. The videos showed that people go into panic. The schools were ordered to evacuate.

Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) have stated in a statement on the social media that the previous missile attack, to which he replied, “is a brazen violation of Israel and Lebanon’s understanding and poses a direct threat to Israel’s civilian population.”

“Lebanon’s condition is responsible for maintaining the agreement,” IDF added.

The Lebanon presidency posted on X, which is in Paris for meetings, told French President Emmanuel Macron, as well as President Cyprus and the Greek Prime Minister that “Israeli attacks on the southern suburbs and threats are a continuation of Israel and the United States.”

“The international community must put an end to these attacks and force Israel to comply with the agreement, as well as Lebanon, who strives for it,” the statement said.

Recent events have further pressure on the delicate ceasefire between Israel and Hezbollah, the Iranian police and the political group, but the deal will probably survive.

Friday attack is even more evidence of the problems faced by Lebanon’s authorities, trying to control the districts in the south, where militants have been operating for decades. Hatsbala is the most powerful of them, but Palestinian factions work there, including Hamas and Islamic jihad.

Despite the transaction, Israel carried about daily air strikes on people, and the goals, she said, is related to Hezbollah, saying that he acts to stop hezbollah from repainting. Lebanon’s government says these attacks and maturity of Israeli soldiers in the fourth place in the south of Lebanon make a truce violations.

A rocket fire aimed at Israel on Friday became the second attack with Lebanon for a week.

On March 22, Israel made several air strikes on Lebanon after several missiles were fired from Lebanon to Israel. The Israeli military said there were dozens of missile launchers and a command center owned by Hezbolla in southern Lebanon.

Lebanon’s Ministry of Health said seven people, including a child, were killed and 40 were hit.

Hatsbala said he is not involved and remained committed to the ceasefire, and no other armed group is responsible.

In November, the ceasefire put an end to more than 13 months of conflicts.

On October 7, 2023, Hatebala launched its campaign the day after Hamas attacks on South Israel, saying that it acts in solidarity with Palestinians in the Gaza Strip.

The long -standing conflict has grown and led to an intensive Israeli air campaign by Lebanon and invading South Lebanon.

About 4,000 people were killed in Lebanon, including many civilians – and led to more than 1.2 million residents.

The stated goal of Israel in his war against Hezbolla was to allow about 60,000 residents moving from communities to the north of the group from the group and remove it from the border.
