The Senior leader of the Islamic State Group (IS) in Iraq and Syria was killed in the Operation Members of the Iraqi National Intelligence Service together with the US Coalition forces, Iraqi Prime Minister said.
Abdullah Maca Muslim al-Rifa, also known as Abu Khadia, “was considered one of the most dangerous terrorists in Iraq and in the world,” said Prime Minister Mohammed Neck al-Sudani.
US President Donald Trump said he was “hunted on our unrestrained warriors.”
The US Central Command (Centcom) published on X, which seemed to be the strike, which, he said, was held in the Western province of Al -anbar in Iraq on Thursday.
Abdullah Maca Muslim al-Rifa was the head of the oldest decision-making body and was responsible for operations, logistics and planning in the world, the US Central Command said.
He also ruled most of the finances for the group’s global organization, Centcom added.
Having posted his social platform, President Trump said: “His unhappy life has been stopped, as well as another ISIS member, coordinating with the Iraqi government and the Kurdish regional government. Peace through force!”
Centcom said Abdulla Maki Muslim al-Rif was found dead together with one, Centcom said.
“Both terrorists were in difficult” suicide vests “and had several weapons,” he added.
Centcom and Iraqi troops were able to identify it through the DNA DNA collected on the previous raid, where he “narrowly escaped”, he added.
General Michael Eric Kurila said: “Abu Hadia was one of the most important members of the whole global organization.
“We will continue to kill terrorists and dismantle our organizations that threaten our Motherland and the USA, allies and partnerships in the region and abroad.”

Iraq announced that the defeat of the IS in December 2017 and the group was expelled from the last territory in 2019.
However, militants and sleeping cells continue to be present in different parts of the country and carry out sporadic attacks on the army and the Iraqi police.
