Isla Fisher prioritizes his professional goals following his divorce from Sacha Baron Cohen.
“I’ve had a couple of tough years, but I’m doing it through,” the actress, 49, said in an interview with Bazaar Harper Published on Thursday, July 31. “I’m very excited for the next chapter.”
Fisher added that, during that time, her three children were her top priority – but now she is ready to go back to work.
“I refocus on my career, because before I was very focused on my children, I am still obviously, because (they are) my real love,” he told the outlet. “But I enjoy tackling work again.”

“That has been one of the benefits of a challenging situation: the luxury of asking myself, ‘What would I like to do professionally and in private?’ I try to remind myself of my new identity as someone outside a partnership and stay as vibrant as possible, ”he continued. “Anytime there is change, it is difficult to adapt. But hopefully I’m doing a proper job.”
