Ishan Kishan’s strange dismissal during the IPL 2025 party between Sunrisers Hyderabad and Mumbai Indians has become a hot topic among fans and cricket experts. Ishan Kishan had just begun his tickets when he tried to look at Deepak Chahar’s legs.
The ball clearly missed the bat and safely landed on Mumbai Indians, Wicketkeper Ryan Ricelton. Old Cricters Varun Aaron, Manoj Tiwary and Nick Knight were also stunned by the incident. They called Ishan’s decision to leave “strange” and asked why he did not wait for the referee or a review.

The ex -Indi Pacer Varun Aaron called the dismissal of strange and disappointing Kishan. He said that Ishan should have thought he struck the ball, but without attractiveness and the referee not sure, he should have waited and reviewed, as he would have saved him.

Varun Aaron said that Espncricinfo said, “It was quite strange. Obviously he heard that he hit the ball. No Batsman would walk if he did not hear that he collided with the ball.”
“But when the wide was hesitant, there was no real attraction on the part of the campers; it should be reviewed. I don’t know why he did not review it. And of course, in the locker room, he was very sad because he is already an average of 6 (5.50 over the last 7 games IPL) now. It’s horrible.”
In the meantime, Nick Knight called the whole confusing incident. He said that if Ishan had touched the ball, he would have known it safely.
The referee seemed ready to give it, but he changed his mind only after seeing that the whrous SRH was moving away. Knight felt that the situation could be avoided if Ishan had just waited and let the referee do his job.

Nick Knight and Manoj Tiwary Slam Ishan Kishan for his decision
Nick Knight said to the same program: “I was watching it live and I think I would know if I hit it. I can’t think of an instance where I wouldn’t.
On the other hand, the former Indian Baters Manoj Tiwary was stunned by the dismissal of Ishan Kishan and shared his thoughts on social media. Cricket Pundit said he wants to hear what Ishan thought when he left without waiting for the referee.
