F1 Following the story of racer Sonny Hayes, a driver who had to retire from Formula 1 after a devastating accident. The character, played by Brad Pittlater returns to the sport with some persuasion of Javier Bardem‘s Ruben Cervantes. He goes on to race for the Apex Grand Prix team and mentor rookie Joshua “Noah” Pearce, played by Damson Idris.
The upcoming sports drama in theaters on June 27, 2025, has produced a ton of buzz for her fast views full of adrenaline. The movie also stars Kerry Condon. Tobias Menzies and Whigham Shea.
Since the film was first published, many have wondered if the story is based on the real life of a racer or whether it is fiction.
Weekly US breaks down whether or not there is some truth to the film.
F1 was filmed in real Grand Prix races that occurred between 2023 and 2024. Pitt and Damson got behind the wheel of real -life cars movie scenes for the movie.
