The Premier League India 2025 (IPL 2025) is expected to resume soon, a few days after its suspension due to the India-Pakistan War. The Cricket Control Council in India (BCCI) is now working to restart the tournament after a cessation agreement between India and Pakistan.
The IPL 2025 was suspended after the Punjab Kings match Delhi Capital in Dharamsala was stopped halfway through security reasons. But now reports suggest that the BCCI could announce the updated program of the remaining IPL 2025 Games until Sunday evening (May 11).
IPL 2025 is likely to restart May 16 or 17
According to Sports Tak, the rest of the IPL 2025 season could restart May 16 or 17, with Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) assuming the Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) at LuckNow’s Ekana Stadium. This means that the previously abandoned game between the kings of Punjab (PBKs) and Delhi Capitals (DC) cannot be re -programmed for now.

The BCCI reported that all teams and parties interested in restarting and asked the franchises to quickly return their players abroad and support staff. The LSG staff is expected to meet on May 13, while other teams will also reach their home bases shortly after.
Playoffs IPL 2025 to house
