With ICC Champions Trophy 2025 wrapped, where India was victorious for the third time, the focus is now in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025that starts on March 22. Rayudu previously expected RCB ‘never wins IPL’
Rayudu has taken Jabs to RCB’s inability to win a title before. Recently, during an episode of the Podcast Raw Talks, he mocked the idea of gaining RCB at the IPL someday, saying “he hopes that he will never arrive a year.”
“I think it’s a matter of time before they (RCB) get the trophy. But definitely I just hope and pray that I don’t come (laughing)” Rayudu had told the podcast.
RCB is one of the most followed franchises in the history of the IPL, but it is still one of the few original teams that has never lifted the trophy since the creation of the tournament in 2008. Despite having legendary players like Turned kohli, ab of villiers, chris gayle and FAF DU PLESSIS Over the years, they have only reached the last three times (2009, 2011 and 2016), losing on all occasions.
