Inter Milan made “Beyond Business and Salaries” to remove Bayern Munich

Inter Milan’s manager, Simone Inzghi, said that his side struck over his weight when they removed the Bayern Munich in a champion league thriller in San Siro.

The ex-Duo de Tottenham, Harry Kane and Eric Dier, were the objectives of the visitors, but two rapid goals of the pieces of Lautaro Martinez and Benjamin Pavard were enough for Inter to advance 4-3 as a whole to face Barcelona in the semifinals.

Inter reached the final in 2023, losing on Rodri’s strike by Manchester City, and last raised the trophy in 2010, also against Bayern.

Inzghi said, “It’s a beautiful evening, against a very strong team.

“It took two major games, but the boys were splendid. It’s a victory to share with everyone.

“We continue now: it is a long and difficult season, but it is giving us so much emotions.

“Against a team like this it gives you even more satisfaction: beyond the budget and the salaries.

“Bayern is extraordinary, but we responded once to both Munich and San Siro. We have been together with these boys for almost four years despite all the difficulties.

“We built a team that brought trophies, a satisfaction that returns the job.”

No Italian side has won the Champions League since the Inter of Jose Mourinho managed it 15 years ago, with the defeat of Inter two years ago and Juventus lost its end in 2015 and in 2017 the closest one has come.
