Janet Mayer/Startraksphoto.com Kellie Pickler and the parents of her late husband Kyle Jacobs have found themselves immersed in legal disagreement over Jacobs’ property. Both sides go to court after Pickler, 38, filed a petition against Reed and Sharon Jacobs, the Kyle Estate Co -Cheneral, according to Intouch, who was first to report (…)

“It is inevitable in any legal case that information that is not otherwise known to the general public can be disclosed,” the filing remains. “But only subjective desire for complete secrecy is inadequate to meet the heavy burden of the test required to justify sealing judicial records.”

Parents also argue that Pickler’s recent attempt to reject the subpoena and insist that she returns items belonging to her late husband is that she turns “a convenient blind eye to the months of negotiations with her counsel relating to the items” in their son’s estate, as well as “the cooperation among counsel when arranging a date and production and method of production.”

Kyle died by suicide In February 2023 at the age of 49. Nearly a year later, his parents – the fellow Chronicians of his estate – are alleged to have asked Bickler to return many of the property of their late son who they claim to have remained at Pickler and Kyle’s home at the time of his death.

In May 2023, Pickler allegedly provided what she claimed to her late husband’s family that he was an inventory of his personal property. For the next 12 months, the family claims to have tried to restore many of those items informally – including Kyle Gun Collection, Watch, Jewelery, Musical Instruments and more – through discussions with Pickler and her solicitor, but say they only had a limited success.

The family claims that Pickler had not only agreed to return several items, but failed to do so despite that agreement and later admitted to obtaining them but then claimed he was unable to find them. Parents claim that Pickler also “banned” the family from entering the home to restore the items – at one time they claim that Kellie has insisted that the family pay for a professional mobile company to remove the items from the home.

Since then the family has filed a petition for civil contempt against Pickler – a petition that filed a proposal for the court to dismiss and one now asks the court to deny.

“(The sacking proposal is) the latest attempt to stymie the sincere efforts of the administrators to move this issue towards his late late conclusion,” read the court documents. “It’s too little, too late.” Parents also ask the court to force the subpoena.

Pickler, for her part, claims through court documents filed on Tuesday that the Subpoena was unreasonable as she was instructed to appear as an attorney office with property that “included a number of unsafe and blunt items absurd to bring the offices to the offices … including gon, secure, secure, numerous and Grandarms and Grandarms.”
