Jason Kelce just revealed his remarkable connection with Brad PittBrother.
During the episode Wednesday, July 2, of Jason, 37, and Travis Kelce‘S. “New Heights” podcastThe Pitt duo, 61, interviewed for his new film, F1. As they wrapped up, Jason shared his unexpected overlap with Brad’s brother, Doug pitt.
“Say what’s up to Doug Pitt,” said Jason. “I don’t know if you know this, I climbed Mount Kilimanjaro with your brother.”
Brad noted that Doug, 58, already told himAdding, “He has both of you up there. He has Joe Buck up there and some other great (guy).”
Reflecting on the achievement, Jason called him “electricity” and “lots of fun.” Brad, however, was curious about Jason’s experience “coming down” the mountain.
“That was worse. It’s easy the worst part,” admitted Jason. “You’re so upset. You reach the summit and you’re like, ‘I’m here, it’s over now.’ But now you have to go back down.
Jason made the tour in 2019 in an effort to raise awareness of the clean water crisis in Tanzania. Brother’s brother, for his part, holds the title of goodwill ambassador for the United Republic of Tanzania. Two fellow players Jason Philadelphia Eagles – Haloti Ngata and Beau Allen – also joined the adventure.
The two brothers played Kelce Ball -footed to the Cincinnati Bearcats before Jason was selected by the eagles During the 2011 draft. The team helped to defeat the New England Patriots at the Super Bowl in 2017.
Meanwhile, Travis, 35 has been a tight end to the head of Kansas City since 2013. Travis led his team into three Super Bowl wins over the years. The brothers and sisters faced against each other in the 2023 Championship, with the Chiefs eventually winning.
After 13 years playing a center for the Eagles, Jason announced his retirement in March 2024.
“So, all this brings us here to today. Where I announce that I retire from the NFL after 13 seasons with the Philadelphia Eagles,” Jason said in a speech at the time. “And today I have to admit, I’ve officially over -told. Very crowded. It took a lot of hard work and determination to get here. I’m the Isdog of my whole career, and I mean this when I say it, I wish I was still. A few things that give me so much joy to prove someone wrong.”
Previously, Jason spoke of his decision to retire on his own terms.
“Just something I think when it comes to officially publishing what happens in the future, it will be done in a definitive way and pay respect for many people and individuals who have meant a lot to me and what has led to the career I’ve had,” he said on “new heights” in January 2024. Probably said something. “
