Oats star Cole Hauser spoke about his relationship with the late father Hauser wings in past interview.
“I didn’t really grow up with him but when I moved out to La he left me to live with him for a year and we got to know each other a little then,” Cole, 49, shared in an interview in October 2021 Cowboys and Indians Magazine.
Cole’s parents divorced when he was young and “about 9 or 10,” saw his father’s actor on television.
“I didn’t know he was my dad. I waited to finish the film, and I saw Wings Hauser (in the credits),” he remembered. “So I went into my mother’s room, and said, ‘Hey mum. I saw a man on television, the wings of his hauser name.’ And she looked at me and went: ‘Wow!’ And I said, ‘Yes, I saw this guy.’ And she’s going, ‘Yeah, well, let’s talk about that.’ He explained to me who he was, and that is how I discovered my dad. ”
Cole said his father was a “huge fan” of Oats. (Cole has Play RIP Wheeler on Paramount Network series from his first appearance in 2018.)
“(E) is clearly very proud of what I’ve done in it,” continued Cole. “He’s an old cowboy, after all. Our family, Hauser side of the family, are all in Montanans. So it’s very close to it. We have a family in Helena and Livingstone and throughout the state.”
Cole quotes are shared on social media following that news Wings died on Saturday, March 15, at the age of 78. His wife, Cali lily hauserHe announced the news in a social media statement five days later.

“Movie Wings Hauser icon has flown in the arms of his film and music partner, Cali Lili Hauser, in their studio this weekend,” he wrote at the time. “Wings Hauser was one of a kind legendary career, spanning 58 years in films, television and music working alongside many of the industry’s biggest artists and gaining their respect.”
He died of natural causes, Cali confirmed to Diversity. (Cole has not yet responded to the news of his father’s death.)
Wings was known for his various TV roles, including playing Greg Foster on The young and the restless In 1977 before returning in 2010. He had several film credits, including Ramrod in 1982’s Undercarfan. Difficult men do not dance and Inside.
