He added, “It was just like, what was what? Literally I have an Excel spreadsheet on, like, my life dates that my friends helped to try to remember what happened when.”

Brooke bought a house in Nashville and started working as a bartender at Bourbon Steak at the JW Marriott in Downtown Nashville. While she was Bartending, she volunteered to help decorate Airbnb who needed rapid regeneration.
“My mother was an inner designer, and my mother was’ Let’s move the sofa ourselves and rearrange the furniture at midnight ‘Type of Person,'” said Brooke. “I was like, ‘Listen, I can decorate the house in, like, three days.’ That’s easy.
Brooke worked and fulfilled her promise, which led to her career taking a sudden and unexpected turn.
“The property manager walked in and was like, ‘This house was empty three days ago. Who did this?’” Brooke remembered. “And my ex girlfriend was like, ‘Brooke has just put him together.’ And it’s like, ‘Brooke, can you do this for other properties as fast as this?’ I was like, ‘Sure.’ “

She really rebuilt my company with me, and then we decided it was so fun going to do this together.”

He added, “When we got married alone, I and Steve said we wouldn’t have done it in any other way, because we and God were really, and it was just a lovely day. It was perfect. It was no distraction, there was no drama. We wouldn’t have changed the way we did it.”
In January, Brooke and Steven welcomed twins: son Trophy and a girl Molly.
“I look at my daughter and I think I can’t imagine telling her anything except that she’s just beautiful and amazing and just encouraged her and let her shine and go whatever path she wants to go in life and support her in that,” Brooke said of maternity. “I look at my son and hope he finishes like his father because he is such a man standing up and kind and tender and has a conscience and always does the right thing and always takes the big road.”
In recent years, Brooke has also rediscovered her faith after admitting that she was “waving” during her time in Los Angeles.
“I think everyone has times where you question, ‘Are you there God? What is supposed to happen?’” Brooke explained. “In retrospect, you notice a place pattern every time you think you go through something and it’s not fair, or you feel so lonely, this glimmer is always from something that happens that changes the course and leads you to something better.”
He added, “Now that I am old enough, I can look back and see that pattern, and see that God worked her magic through me, with me, and pushed me towards things, though it was painful.”
