In November 2024, at the end of her third pregnancy, social media influencer and owner of Divi Danny Austin leave social media indefinitely.
Before her Instagram hiatus, Austin told her 2.3 million followers that she needed to take her “first ever” social media break – and stayed off the platform for two months.
On Monday, January 13, Austin returned to Instagram with a video showing her at 39 weeks pregnant, believing she was in labor.
At the start of the video, she joked about the hiatus, saying she would discuss where she has been in due course.
The video continued, showing Austin jumping on her two oldest children’s trampoline, doing a puzzle, asking her children if they were hoping for a sibling and taking pictures of hot sauce.
Austin and her husband, Jordan Ramirezhave made the decision to wait until birth to learn the gender of their child.
A day later, Austin shared another video, this time on their way to the hospital.
In the video, she and Jordan joked about a fight they had the day before where Austin wasn’t invited to the delivery room. “He literally said I wasn’t invited to the labor room,” she said.
The third video came on Wednesday, January 15, showing Austin in her delivery room. By the end of the video, Austin was a mother of three.
A day later, they revealed they had welcomed an 8lb, 1oz baby boy.
“We need to find out baby names. Honestly, I just thought it was a girl so I only have girls’ names,” Austin questioned in the video.
Alongside the first photos of their son, he revealed the name they officially settled on, writing, “Meet Summit West Ramirez.”
“Your mommy is my mommy,” he continued. “Through your mothering, God is healing me in ways I never thought possible.”
