India Women achieve their highest ever ODI total with a dominant display against Ireland

The Indian batsman’s incredible performance surpassed his previous record of 358/2, which was also set against Ireland in 2017. At that time, Deepti Sharma (188) and Punam Raut (109) smashed centuries and helped the India beat Ireland by 249 runs in Potchefstroom.

While Harleen Deol made 89 runs, Jemimah Rodrigues smashed her first international hundred, scoring 102 runs off 91 balls, laced with 12 boundaries to ensure the Indian women’s cricket team have the upper hand in the second ODI ongoing against Ireland in Rajkot.

Jemimah Rodrigues was in sensational form as she cruised from a half-century to her first ODI century in just 28 balls, leaving the entire Indian women’s cricket team in the lurch. After reaching the milestone, he celebrated in style, mimicking playing a song on the bat like a guitar.
