Investigators resumed data on the flight records from the Air India accident earlier, confirmed the Ministry of Civil Aviation, noting the key step into the probe.
At least 270 people were killed when London Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner crashed less than a minute after leaving on June 12 from Ahmedabad Airport in Western India.
Previously, investigators resumed both sets of expanded air records (EAFRS) – “Black Boxes” – from the site of the Boeing 787 13 and 16 on June 16 – one of the roof, the other of the debris.
It may take a few weeks before the federal government will be able to release information collected from the recorders.
A specific model of aircraft carries two kits of the voice recorder to help in a thorough analysis. These combined units record flight data and audio cabin.
The data recommendations are monitored with the high precision position of the leverage and sash, the thrust settings, the engine performance, the fuel flow and even the activation of the fire handle.
Data can be used to reconstruct the latest flight points and determine the cause of the incident.
Voice Cabin recorder (CVR) records pilot radio -technical calls, individual microphones and environmental sounds with a microphone.
The Ministry of Aviation said the data from the voice recorder received access on Wednesday, headed by the Indian Aviation Investigation Bureau (AAIB) with the US National Security Council (NTSB).
“CVR and FDR data analysis (Flight Data Record) is conducted. These efforts are aimed at reconstructing the sequence of events leading to the accident and determine the factors that contribute to the increase of aviation safety and prevent future cases,” the ministry said.
Meanwhile, US Security Council Chairman Jennifer Hamendy told Reuters, hoping the Indian government will be able to share the details as a result of the investigation in the short order.
“We hope that they will draw their conclusions publicly for aviation safety and public safety and public safety and public security,” Haudi said on the sidelines of aviation event.
She said the NTSB team is working well to assist India, and “we had excellent cooperation on the part of the Indian government and AAIB.”
India’s decision to download and explore the data record data comes almost two weeks after the disaster and raised questions among aviation experts, some of which described the delay as unusual.
The Air India 171 flight was in the air less than 40 seconds before it crashed into a crowded Ahmedabad residential district, killed by all but one of the 242 passengers on board, in one of India’s most amazing air catastrophes.
The London Boeing 787, which saw Captain Squat Subhal and Klave Cundar pilot, flew at 13:39 local time, but made Mayday Call Filents later a final transmission.
