Virated Kohli added that players often struggle to find the right time for his retirement. He revealed that he had an interesting conversation with Rahul Dravid related to this, and added that he is happy in his life right now. Added:

“Competitive streak does not allow you to find the answer. I had a very interesting conversation with Rahul Dravid about this. He said you always have to keep -you contact yourself. Find out where you are placed in your life and the answer is not so easy.

“Maybe you go through a lean phase and feel like it is. But maybe it’s not. But when the time came, my competitive streak would not allow me to accept -maybe a month more. Maybe another six months. So I think it’s a good balance. At this point in my life, I feel quite happy.”

Kohli also spoke of the introduction of the Cricket at the Olympic Games, acknowledging that IPL has played a massive role in bringing the cricket to the global stage. He also said in a joke that he would leave his retirement for a party just to take the medal. Explained:

“I don’t know, maybe if we are playing in the gold medal, they might strain me for a game, get the medal and go home,” he joked.
