In the UK, the 2035 FIFA World Cup was delivered after submission only a “genuine” application

The UK will host the 2035 FIFA World Cup as the only participant in the tournament, FIFA President Giann Infantina said.

England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland presented a joint expression of interest in March Hold the World Cup across the home country.

According to FIFA rotation rules, the tournament should be in Europe or Africa.

Last week, the President of the Spanish Federation Rafael Luzan said he was working on a joint application together with Portugal and Morocco.

However, the term for expressions that are of interest, adopted on Monday, and Infantine states that the UK’s application is the only one that received in 2035, while the US will be published in 2031.

“Today I can confirm as part of the bidding process that we have received one application for 2031 and one valid application for 2035,” Infanina said at the UEFA Congress in Belgrade.

“The 2031 application is the United States of America and possibly some other members of Concacaf, and the 2035 application from Europe and the main countries.

“So, the way is for the 2031 and 2035 World Cup to happen in some large countries and further increase the women’s football movement.”
