But Aubrey’s attempt to kick the ball downfield failed as it was immediately knocked out of bounds in left field and one of the Cowboys’ cheerleaders became the unlucky receiver.

Luckily, she got back to her feet and seemed to laugh off the situation after it happened.
The rest of her cheer squad made sure to check on her, as did Commanders player Tress Way who was in the area.
In July, Semenovsky joined the team of fans, writes on Instagram that it has been “a dream of mine for as long as I can remember” to be part of a famous team.
“This has been the most life-changing experience, but it’s just the beginning. I am very grateful to say that I have achieved my dream and earned my boots!”

Once play resumed after the incident, the Cowboys found themselves looking to end the season on a high note, but the Commanders had other things in mind.
Marcus Mariota, who replaced Jayden Daniels at quarterback with the team’s playoff spot, knew a potential seed was on the line when he got the ball with just over three minutes to play in the fourth quarter.
Washington, down by three points, had more than the tying field goal on its mind when Mariota found himself on 2nd-and-goal from the Dallas 5-yard line, and he threw a fade to Terry McLaurin on the outside.
McLaurin leapt into the air and grabbed the ball with both feet in bounds to win the game on the final play from scrimmage.

As a result, the Commanders finished the season 12-5, although the Philadelphia Eagles won the division 14-3. But the win earned them the No. 6 seed instead of the No. 7 seed, which had to travel to Philadelphia to face the Eagles in the wild-card round.
Meanwhile, Dallas finishes the season at 7-10.
