The Federal Appeal Court overturned a legal order requiring US Presidential Administration Donald Trump to close alligator Alcatras, which allowed the immigration detention center to remain open.
The US Appeal Court of the 11th District has provided a request from Florida and the US Homeland Security Department to block a lower court as long as the lawsuit filed.
“The alligator Alcratras actually, as we always said, is open to business,” said Florida Governor Ron Tandalis.
Last month, US District Judge Kathleen Williams ordered the expansion of the object and for the fact that its dismantling began within 60 days.
Judge Williams, appointed former President Barack Obama, agreed with the environmental groups and the Indians tribe, who claimed that the object was to transfer the federal environmental reviews.
The Internal Security Department began transferring the detainees from Everglyid at the end of last month in accordance with this court.
But on Thursday, the Court of Appeal concluded that state and federal officials would probably be successful in showing that the object is not subject to the Law on National Environmental Policy.
Two judges, appointed Trump, wrote most of the rulings. The judge appointed Obama disagrees.
The Department of Internal Security stated that the appeal was “a victory for the American people, the rule of law and common sense.”
“This lawsuit has never been about the environmental impact, turning the airport developed into a detention center,” the department wrote in the message on X.
“This is and will always be about activists and judges with open curbs trying to avoid law enforcement agencies from the removal of dangerous criminal foreigners from our communities full stop.”
The Republican Governor Florida also welcomed the decision.
“Some left -wing judges decided that Florida somehow did not allow use of their own property on this important mission as they did not make an application for environmental impact,” the landingis said.
Everglades friends and other plaintiffs have not yet commented on the trial.
