The International Cricket Council (ICC) has announced the world winners of the ICC Development Awards 2024, recognizing efforts to grow the cricket worldwide. This year’s ICC Development Awards included a new category: the ICC X Rexona Ciiio Festival of the Year.
A total of seven prizes were given to members associated with their outstanding work to promote sport worldwide. The best winners of ICC Development Awards 2024 are Bhutan, Indonesia, Namibia, Nepal, Scotland, Tanzania, the USA and Vanuatu.
In particular, the development awards were launched in 2002 to celebrate the innovation and initiative of the associate members of the game, “leading the growth of sports worldwide”.

ICC Development Awards 2025 Categories:
ICC Development Initiative of the Year –
This award goes to an associate member who carried out an excellent Cricket Development Program during the year. It could be a program where people participated in person or one that worked digitally.
ICC Development Initiative of the Year – Namibia cricket
The African country won the prize for its Mini-Cricket Ashburton Kwata program. This program plays a key role in the growth of sport in Namibia. He is now part of the physical education classes in public schools, helping thousands of students from 14 regions to learn and enjoy the cricket.
ICC Women’s Cricket Initiative of the Year:
This award celebrates the best effort on the part of an associate member to grow women’s cricket, through online programs or online activities during the year.
ICC Whene Cricket Initiative of the Year – Cricket Bhutan Bunta and Vanuatu Cricket Association
For the first time, two winners received the ICC women’s cricket initiative of the year. The Bhutan Cricket Council Council has been recognized for its competition Inter-School of Girls, a program designed to increase the participation of girls in the Cricket.
On the other hand, the Vanuatu Cricket Association has been honored by its “Picking Wickets” program, which provides remote and face -to -face training.

The performance of the men’s team of the ICC associate team:
This award goes to the best performance of the field by a men’s team of an associate member in an ICC tournament or a bilateral series during the year.
Associate Member of the ICC, the performance of the Winne MenR – US cricket
The U.S. won the prize for its impressive performance at the ICC 2024 T20 World Cup. Last year, they shocked Pakistan and reached the Super Eight Event Stadium.
Member of the ICC Member of the Women’s Performance Team of the Year:
This award goes to the best performance of the field by a female team of an associate member in an ICC event or bilateral series during the year.
The performance winner of the ICC associated women of the ICC – cricket scotland
Scotland won this award for its impressive performances by 2024. They made history by qualifying for the first time in the ICC World Cup for the first time after a strong show in the standings.
ICC Digital make Engagement of the Year –
This award recognizes the creative use of an associate member of digital platforms, campaigns or technology to connect with fans and grow the cricket community during the year.
Digital ICC Fan Engagement of the Year – Nepal’s cricket association
ICC Cricket 4 Good Social Impact Initiative of the Year –
This award honors a project that used the cricket to bring positive changes in areas such as health, education or community support.
Cricket 4 good social printing of the year – Indonesia cricket association
Persatuan Cricket Indonesia won this award for his “Cricket for Confidence” movement.
ICC CRIO CRICKET FESTIVAL OF THE YEAR WITH REXONA –
This prize recognizes the festival for an associate member of the ICC who promoted the women’s cricket, increasing participation and created a lasting impact through the pilot program of the Cricket ICC CRIIIO 2024.
