The International Cricket Council (ICC) will have its annual conference in Singapore. According to reports at Cricbuzz, it is learned that the meeting is temporarily planned for the third week of July and some of the key decisions, including changes in play conditions, are expected during the meeting.
According to reports, the decision to host the annual conference in Singapore was completed during recent meetings held in Zimbabwe. The first took place in Harare and later in Victoria Falls. And the decision was made considering that Singapore is the constituency of the Deputy President of the ICC, Imran Khwaja.
This will also be the first annual conference chaired by Jay Shah as President of the CPI. The reports added that the governing body is thinking of forming a working group to examine the recent recommendations presented by the Cricket Committee, chaired by Sourav Ganguly.
Your daily dose of cricket!
One of the main proposals presented by the Cricket Committee was to use a single ball from 25 on a day international, with the intention of playing again in reverse investment. Apart from that, they also suggested some changes in the test cricket.
The Committee led by Sourav Ganguly that game watches should be entered in the test cricket so that 90 points can be completed in one day. They suggested that there should be a 60 -second time limit between tests in the tests, as is in the white ball of balls.
The Cricket Committee also proposed a suggestion of celebrating the World Cup of 19 men in T20 format, such as women under 19. Currently, the World Cup under the age of 19 is in the 50 -year format. The CPI, during its conference, will address all this and the decision will come out soon.
The governing body is looking forward to forming a working group so that they enter these suggestions before making a call. Reports said that the group has not yet been formed, but it is likely to be done soon.
The CPI also recently maintained preliminary debates on the World Cricket Association (WCA). The meetings were related to the suggestions of the associations, including a restructuring of the ICC government and a review of the existing financial distribution model. So far, there is no clarity if the Council has taken the council or not.
However, it is learned that some deliberations took place at the level of the Executive Committee (CEC). The reports added that the consensus within the CEC seems to be that the WCA does not have the locus standi to dictate terms in the global governing body.
Only a few full members have granted membership in the organization, which were formerly identified as a fica. The individual advice would relate to their players associated with the WCA. However, the probability that the report will obtain the formal acceptance of the global governing body remains scarce.
