The India Cricket National Team and the National Clicet team of England started their cycle of the World ICC 2025-27 World Test Championship with a battle against each other.
The first test of five games series between Shubman Gill’s National Cricket Team, and India’s cricket and Ben Stokes-The Ledland National Cricket Team was welcomed by Headingley to Leeds from June 20 to 24.
Three hundreds for Team India at the first entries

India post a target of 371 on board for England
In the second post with the bat, India did a wonderful job again. This time, there were two centurions: KL Rahul (137) and Ris Hurbh Pant (118), as visitors ended with a score of 364, establishing a 371 goal for the hosts.
Like the first inputs, India’s score could have been larger if they had not suffered a shocking hit with the lower order that made no contribution. For England, Brydon Cars and Josh Tongue took three doctors each to the third entrance of the game.
Pursuing the target, Zak Crawley and Well duckett He beat brightly and sewed an impressive 188 -slope opening stand to put India under enormous pressure.
Ben Duckett played once for ages, as he broke 149 at 170 balls. Although two doctors each of Prasidh Krishna and Shardul Thakur helped India to make a mini comeback, the three lions managed to complete the Chase easily with Joe Root (53*) and Jamie Smith (44*) remaining unviminuous in the middle. England won the game by 5 doctors and advanced by 1-0 in the series.
