Vijay Shankar, the Indian player throughout the CSK, has excavated the Tamil Nadu selectors to leave him out on several occasions, which forced him to leave the Tamil Nadu state team and change sideways to the Clicet State of Tripura for the next domestic season.
Several veteran players who have been playing state teams for years are occasionally complaining that they complain about losing their place against newer players, especially in the state -of -the -art team. Therefore, it is seen that several players make sudden movements to other state teams, who are ready to offer them their desired role.
Hanuma Virari is a player of this type who did something similar to the one who moved to a new state association, but a player who has been a moving member and has been blaming the authorities to force him to take the drastic step is the star of CSK Vijay Shankar.
Your daily dose of cricket!
After many discussions and too much thought, Vijay Shankar finally decided to leave the Tamil Nadu Cricket Association, as his role was not closed next to him.
He was repeatedly sitting on the bench and was given a predetermined role of a water boy, although he marked the races and showed his penalty every time he was given a place in XI interpretation. The same treatment he received at CSK configuration.
Shankar, who was not satisfied with only little chance, but wanted to be common in XI interpretation, opted for Tamil Nadu Clicet Association and moved to the Tripura Cricket Association, where he would be combined with Hanuma Virari.
The 34 -year -old stated that he has received the Tamil Nadu Cricket Association (TNCA) certificate and is eager to start the next chapter of his cricketing trip.
Shankar has taken a mass excavation to Tamil Nadu selectors, saying that they have not provided any clarity to everything he is. It was abandoned several times despite the good.
“Sometimes, when you are forced to make this call, you have to move on and look for opportunities. I think I’ve been playing well. And what’s more important, I want to play Cricket; that’s everything. I can’t go out -I just sit and give water. It’s quite difficult after playing for so many years,” Shankar told Hindu.
Shankar was frustrated by leaving out of the 11th Chair of Tamil Nadu for the few games of the Buchi Babu tournament. I also did not have a big IPL playing CSK. In spite of everything, it is expected to star in CSK at the IPL 2026.
“Last year, I dropped through the first two Ranji games, and then returned to a comeback. At the Syed Mushtaq Ali trophy, again, I was dropped during the last two games. So, then, it was quite hard. You need a little clarity at some point. I was not achieving this clarity,” said CSK All-Rounder.
The 2019 World Cup campaign and now CSK All-Rounder, which seeks some clarity to the state team, has been seriously lacking over the years. Despite having an indisputably good Ranji record, the batter has never received a sense of security from TNCA selectors.
“ I never had a safe sensation when it comes to selectors. So, at any given time, I decided that I had to make a call. And I liked that at least our coach (M. Senthilnhan) presented himself and I said that what they (the selectors) thought. So, I felt that there was no sense to stay.
He even mentioned a three -year incident, in 2022, when he scored 3 hundred consecutive in 3 games at no. 6 position, but it was shot from no. 3 to no. 7 to the rest of the season.
“Therefore, there is no explanation for this (why he is setting aside). But I can say that all these things have made me a better cricketter today. He made me very hard. I was always in a position where I had to keep acting to prove that things are wrong.”
