It’s a really good week to be James Gunn Superman. It’s an even better week to be someone who actually knows something about reporting a box office and is not a sniveling, moronic gifter.
Superman The $ 300 million mark passed at the Domestic Box Office this week. That means he has already exceeded the domestic gross lifetime for Zack Snyder’s Steel man and will soon overtake the domestic gross for the Worst DC movie ever. Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice.
Now, why does this give me a certain sense of antagonistic joy? Because the joined -up effort by Snyder Bros (and their politically driven fans) to consider Gunn’s film is a failure before it released even proven to be a failure, and now the underground dipsticks that pushed this fading narrative do whatever they can find victory in defeat.
And I’m here to laugh in their silly, silly faces.
“But, adapted for inflation…”
Let’s dismantle their most spectacular argument against her SupermanBox Office Success: “Well, *chuckle sniffed dismiss *, when you adapt for inflation, James Gunn’s Superman have not made as much money as Steel manSo it’s a big old failure! “
Newsflash, Dumbass, that’s how money stupidity works. Inflation is not a bit of a magic metric that you can pull out to declare objective quality or film success compared to another. According to that logic, you should be glazing Richard Donner Superman: the movie At every time and call Steel man Fart in the Box Office relevance wind. I mean, adjusted for inflation, Superman: the movie made over $ 250 million more than Steel man. For a huge gap that clearly shows that Zack Snyder’s film is a big flop compared!
So, just because they don’t have real contemporary data that anyone who throws out the debate “modified for inflation” in the hopes of defending their film of choice does so. The only inflation that is adjusted is in the pants of the dudes running Dc Studios.
The dour dc is dead and chuds can’t take it
It is also clear that the solid grip Superman Hold during his release at the box office proves that pop culture embraces the brighter DCU rather than storm and stress of Snyder’s interpretation. This is definitely the “we insist on being taken seriously” from a toxic band in Humph and it’s lovely to see it.
Certainly, I am not against the stories of dark or serious superhero, but the particular brand of the Machismo loser pushed in the DCEU is something that I fully support is drawn behind the chemical and shooting sheds. Naturally, shrimp dorks with a basement instead of a soul on this toxic attitude and make it such a clear part of why they like those films.
Therefore, optimistic, bright, politically open color Superman makes more money than DC flicks that act as a chapter of the Joe Rogan Experience came to life? Yeah, I’m very happy about that.
Move on, losers
The idea that a particular branch of fans would adjust Superman Snyder flicks to their personality reminds someone else of why we need to move on from things. Trying to turn these flicks into a core part of someone’s identity is nothing less than pathetic and deserving of a broad ridicule.
Superman Zack Snyder is dead, buried, and his grave is covered with plenty of piss of passing people. It’s lovely to see Superman chastise Steel man and Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice Because those movies are bad. It is even more uplifting to see the delusional panic of a poisonous Fanbase trying to convince themselves that they are still the Coolest and the real winners.
