“I have never regretted the decision to make the trial public”

Giselle Pellico told a crowd of reporters outside the court that she was thinking of her children and grandchildren and all the other families and victims of stories that are “often overshadowed,” saying “we have the same struggle.”

She added that she never once regretted waiving her right to remain anonymous and “opening the door” to the trial so the public could see what happened.
