Former India Cricter Aakash Chopra raised concern about the recent struggles of Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) at IPL 2025. Chopra stated that losing three consecutive matches is a serious problem, but added that the team led by Pat Cummins is unlikely to change their aggressive approach in the next game.
Sunrisers Hyderabad will face Gujarat Titans (GT) at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium in Hyderabad on Sunday, April 6. SRH is currently at the bottom of the point table after losing three games. Meanwhile, the team led by Shubman Gill is third with two wins from their first three games.
In a video shared on his YouTube channel Aakash Chopra said that the loss of two games can be managed. He added that it will be harder for Hyderabad to recover and bounce after three losses.
“Hyderabad, what do you do people? You have lost three games in the rebound. A team can manage if they lose two games, but if you lose three consecutive matches, you have to realize that you get off the drain and it will be slightly difficult to get out of this,” Copra said on his YouTube channel.
Sunrisers Hyderabad suffered an 80 -year defeat in his last game while chasing a 201 against Kolkata Knight Riders. Before, they had suffered two consecutive losses, one against the Super Giants of Lucknow and the other against Delhi’s capitals, as he first beat.
Cricleter’s switch said he did not expect to cross and Abhishek Sharma to fail. Chopra added that Hyderabad would continue his attacking pitch, despite current challenges.
“I didn’t think this type of battles training was in such a situation. I didn’t think Travishek (Travis Head and Abhishek Sharma), flying high, to fall.
Travis Head scored a fast fire 67 of 31 balls against Rajasthan Royals. However, its form has fallen into the following matches, with scores of 47, 22 and only 4 in its next three entrances. In the meantime, Abhishek Sharma has won only 33 runs in four entries, with its best score 24.
Former Kolkata Knight Riders player argued that SRH Batters should not alter their approach. He added that the team should have chosen different players if they wanted a more conservative approach.
“To be fair, why should you change after setting up a team? If you have to ask them to play easy, you should have bought someone else. When you bought these explosive batters, it will not work if you wait for them to play with caution,” Chopra said.
The 2016 IPL Champions have struggled to achieve the proper balance between aggression and over -agression, with several key baptisms that did not perform in their last three games. However, they will wait for a change when they return to their house, a place known for great score games.
