“I am very disappointed”: Davies’s agent comes out to Canada staff after Defender suffer from ACL injuries

Alphonso Davies Agent has reached the Canadian men’s team staff after the Bayern Munich defender suffered an ACL injury while in international service.

Nedal Huoseh claims that Davies was pressured to play Canada’s United States defeat on Sunday, despite the fact that he was “not 100 percent after the Mexico game (Friday)” and said he was “very disappointed” with the technical staff.

Davies ripped the cruciate ligament to the right knee to the victory of the third place in the Concacaf League on the United States and was replaced in the 12th minute.

Bayern revealed the news Wednesday and said that the 24 -year -old left will undergo surgery and will probably be out of action for several months.

And Huoseh did not look like a humor to chop his words. In a statement to wavesoccer, he said, “I am very disappointed. Alphonso was not 100 percent after Mexico’s game and it was expected that it would not start against the US.

“On Saturday night, the expectation was that it would not be in the XI. As a captain, I feel he was pressured to start the game by the coach.

“Alphonso is not the type of type that does not say it right now. He ended up playing and looked at what happened.

“Canada’s football has to do a better job to manage these players, in my opinion. Alphonso is down and, of course, really disappointed by this injury.

“Luckily, he is in wonderful hands with a world -class group in the Bayern that will take care of him a lot. He is expected to have surgery for the next 24 hours.”

Canada’s football responded to Huoseh’s comments, calling them “fake”.

The injury to Davies will come as a blow to the manager of Bayern Vincent Kompany, whose side is looking for a double domestic and European.

Kompany’s men have a six -point advantage over the defense of the Bayer Leverkusen champions at the top of the Bundesliga and also face Inter Milan in the quarterfinals of the Champions League.

To fulfill the affairs, Dayot Upamecano also suffered a serious injury while in international service, although it is believed that the central defender could return to the last games of the season.

Upamecano played the full 120 minutes when France beat Croatia 2-0 on Sunday night, marking the winning penalty at the penalty departure after the two-legged league of the League of Nations finished 2-2 in total.

But it was later discovered that he had floating fragments on his left knee, which would set him out for “several weeks”.
