(Hulk’s son) Nick He told me he could talk and Nick asked me to call, ”Bischoff said, 70.“ I got it on the phone and I could say it was weak, it sounded tired, but he still had ‘what we’re going to do next’ a kind of basic energy in his voice. “
He continued, “I said, ‘Hulk, I’m coming down to see you.’ It’s going, ‘Man, I really want to see you, but I’m kind of ashamed to see me this way because I’ve been pretty ill.’ I said, ‘Hulk, when I look at you, I don’t see the same as you see when you look in the mirror, so f *** that, I’ll be down on Monday.’ “

“It was like, ‘What happens with a real American free style?’ He is like, ‘How does the event look in August? Do we have tickets for sale?’ ”Bischoff remembered. “All he wanted to talk about was business, but in a fun, energetic way, even though he struggled. Not struggling – it was just a little more effort than he should speak at the time because his larynx and all those things had moved around during surgery. He worked for him to have a conversation. But he was the same guy.”
“He said, ‘Brother, I can’t wait. I may not be able to do anything on camera for a couple of weeks, but I’ll be good on the phone.’ He was so eager to get back to work, ”added Bischoff.
