Hulk Hogan remembered by his loved ones in a memorial service more than a week after his death.
The funeral was held for the wrestling legend in Largo, Florida, on Tuesday, August 5, a source says only Weekly US. It was reported that the service was held at Indian Rocks Baptist Church, just a few miles from Hogan’s Clearwater’s home, according to photos published by the Daily Mail.
Hogan died at the age of 71 On July 24 after he suffered a heart suspension at his home in Clearwater, Florida. He was taken to a local hospital, where he was identified as dead.
Later, the cause of Hogan’s death was revealed as an acute myocardial infarction, most commonly known as a heart attack, according to documents obtained by Weekly US on July 31. His method of death was listed as a natural one.
In addition, Hogan suffered from chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL), a type of cancer affecting white blood cells called lymphocytes. The illness progresses more slowly than other types of leukemia and typically only affects older adults. It is unknown when Hogan was diagnosed with CLL, as his illness was not publicly known before his death.
The documents also revealed plans for Hogan’s body to be cremated. The plans were approved by Pinellas County Forensic Science Center in Largo, Florida, on July 30.
Hogan’s family responded to his death in the days after he passed.
“I had no idea that he would pass this soon,” his ex-wife Linda Hoganwith whom he shares a son Nick Hogan and a girl Brooke Hogan. He commented on his own Instagram post On July 28. “We all really thought it would come back! Great surprise. We’re all ruined. It struck me so hard.”

“Nick would tell me things and vice versa,” explained Linda. “Just news of life. I was still feeling .. even though I was broken .. We were still a family. It’s so hard to know that he just went. I tried to stay strong for Nick … but I’m melting down now. It’s very sad.”
He finished, “I love you Hulkster. You were my man. The only man for me. Rip.”
Hulk was married to Linda between 1983 and 2009. Following their division he moved on with Jennifer McDaniel In 2010. The pair divorced in 2021.
Hulk tied the knot with his third wife, Sky every dayin September 2023.
“I wasn’t ready for this… and my heart is pieces,” every day wrote in response to Hulk’s death In July 25. “He had been dealing with some health issues, but I really thought we would overcome them. I had so much faith in his strength. I thought we were still having longer. This loss is sudden and impossible to process.
He continued, “Hulk loved his fans so much and despite his increasing physical discomfort, he did everything he could to display, sign signatures, take photographs, and contact the people who supported him throughout. You meant everything to him. He was a believer in Christ, and I take comfort knowing that his soul was on peace and he tried to be welcomed as the new family will love him.”
