America’s got talent Starts season 20 with an unforgettable audition.
During the premiere of the season on Tuesday, May 27, viewers were introduced at home to a potential singer Jourdan’s blue.
“During my teenager, I went down the wrong path, and was kicked out of school. I got myself into some trouble and finished on my own at 16,” shared before going on stage to an audition. “There was definitely a little time there where I was homeless and I would bounce around from a friend’s house’s house or sleep in bathrooms where I worked.”
Everything changed, however, when his father stepped in to help provide love and shelter to the resident of New Orleans. Now Jourdan is a father and willing to fulfill his musical dreams America’s got talent.

“I started a street performing in New Orleans because I really wanted to dive into it,” he told the judges Howie Mandel. Sofia Vergara. M mel and Simon Cowell. “As you may remember, at the beginning of the year, there was a terrorist attack on an exact block where I perform.”
While trying to hold back tears, the 23 -year -old said he knew it was time to step out of his comfort zone and try America’s got talent.

“It made me realize that there was so much more to live for,” he said. “That’s what made me choose Ag. I feel this is the best way to level up. “
Within seconds, Jourdan surprised the audience with his unique presentation of “Breakeven” by the script. When the song came to an end, the four judges and an audience presented fixed oral.
While Mel B, 49, said that the performance was “Pitch Perfect,” Sofia, 52, argued that he was a complete “Rockstar”.

TRAE PATTON/NBCSimon, 65, named Jourdan “So Cool”, decided before Howie, 69, used his golden buzzer on the upcoming singer.
“This is a 20 season,” said Howie. “I’ve seen dreams come true where you stand, lives change properly where you stand and that step and that moment can take you anywhere and just start where you can go.”
Since America’s Got Talent showed in June 2006, the show has gone through many changes – including the exchange of the panel of judges from time to time. Because Jourdan received a golden buzzer, he will avoid the other rounds of the competition and be able to progress straight to the live shows.
“I think you were someone who lost their way a little,” Simon shared. “But, as you said, through music, you’ve found your way.”
