Eddie Howe admitted that it was a good point for Newcastle in Brighton this afternoon after Alexander’s penalty Isak recovered a 1-1 draw.
The Magpies had two previous appeals for a kick rejected by VAR, one after a free kick to Anthony Gordon who was outside the area and another after a shocking immersion of Joe Willock, but referee Craig Pawson was well proven when he pointed out the place for the third time after Yasin Ayari handball.
Isak increased with a remaining minute and went home to cancel the former -Newcastle Yankuba Minheh workshop.

Brighton should have had his own penalty when Sandro Tonali expelled Matt O’Reilly, but visitors achieved his luck to claim a valuable point in his commitment to claim a Champions League place.
Howe told Sky Sports: “It’s probably a good point for us, though we came here to win. Our final pass and the cross probably were not at the best level.
“We were very disappointed in the way we granted us.
Diego Gomez and Callum Wilson had great chance of gaining it in their respective parts in times of injury, but their boots were shared.
“We were going to look for it, I think we have to do in our position and I am proud of how we fought in the game,” added Howe, who has to play Chelsea, Everton and Arsenal in his last three games.
“Everything is to play. We have three huge games, three very hard games in different ways. Two of them are at home and we hope this can make a difference.”

Brighton’s head, Fabian Hurzeler, was not happy in his side performance with the draw, making little the hopes of the gulls to be sorted in Europe.
He said, “I have a mix of feelings. I am proud of the team to unite -me, but it was not our perfect match in possession. In general, there is a mix of feelings, but we try to get the positive ones.
“We granted a cheap penalty. We have to accept it and try to get the most out of it. I saw a good team performance, although we made some easy mistakes and could not control the game as we wanted.”
