Meredith Gaureau Found a special way to include her late husband Johnny Gaureau and so welcome their third child.
Welcoming Baby Carter to the world on April 1, Meredith made sure that pictures of the former professional hockey player were placed throughout the hospital room.
“Carter Michael Gaureau – the same middle name as his father,” wrote Meredith through Instagram On Monday, April 7, in announcement Their son’s birth. “8 lbs 3 ounces, 20.5 inches – exactly the same with his father. He looks just like his father too.”
In announcing the arrival of Baby Carter, he divided Meredith – who was formerly welcoming the daughter of Noah in September 2022 and her son Johnny in February 2024 – a trophy made when Johnny was born. The souvenir confirmed that he had the same measurements as Carter when he was born.

After Meredith had laid, she had the opportunity to introduce her son to some of the former Johnny players, including NHL Player Erik Gudbranson.

Meredith’s life was changed forever when Johnny and his younger brother were, Matthew Gaureau. slay In August 2024 after they were hit by an alleged drunken driver when cycling near their hometown of New Jersey. Johnny was 31, and Matthew was 29.
During a Memorial Service for the Brothers, Meredith announced She was pregnant With her and the third baby Johnny.
“In less than three years of marriage, we have created a family of five,” he shared during the service. “It doesn’t even sound possible. But I’m looking at it as the ultimate blessing. How lucky am I to be the mother of three Baby John? Our last one is a blessing and so special, despite these difficult circumstances.”

As Meredith continues her mournful journey, she will not stop sharing fond memories of her husband.
In the weeks after Johnny’s death, Meredith praised her husband for being “an absolute best father in the world.”
“So caring and loving. The best partner to go by being a parent,” he wrote through Instagram In August 2024. “John never lost a single appointment. Was the best for putting the baby to sleep and Apple’s eye Noah. I love how much she looks like him. We’re going to make you proud. We love you so much dad.”
