Nick Lachey open up about how he and his wife Vanessa lachey relax after those (sometimes controversial) Love is blind reunions.
“A very stiff drink after the reunion,” Nick, 51, was told only Weekly US On Thursday, May 8, of how he and his half better Vanessa, 44, treats Netflix’s live show.
“The reunion, as you can imagine, that’s a stressful day,” he continued. “And there are a lot of emotions, obviously, that goes into that show. So yes, we’re definitely rewarding ourselves with Martini left. Definitely.”
He added, “It is called Martini’s shot for a reason. You move on.”
Nick and Vanessa have hosted the popular reality dating series since its opening season in February 2020. The show, which proves whether people looking for romance can fall in love unseen or not, go on to launch eight successful seasons, few successful relationships and countless viral moments.
“I think the beauty of the show is that you don’t know who’s going to fall in love with who, because you don’t know who’s going to get in touch on that kind of organic level they do on the show,” explains Nick. “So it (after) some unexpected things for me. I’m like, ‘Wow, I didn’t see that coming.’ And thankfully we had a huge success rate.
He continued, “Obviously, it’s a TV show. We love being on a show that is successful, but the real success stories are the people (who) are still together and really, in fact, found what they were looking for and still having a beautiful, beautiful wedding.”
Although the show undoubtedly triggered innumerable conversations and produced endless controversial moments on screen, Nick told Us He does not believe that hosting the show has changed his wedding off the screen.
“I don’t think we changed anything,” he said. “I think what he does is refreshing being around people falling in love. It’s kind of taking you back to your own story and reminding you of how it was right there in the beginning, when you see that person you love so dear. So it’s great to be around that kind of atmosphere and refreshing.”
Nick went on to add “the more you talk about relationships,” whether it’s on Love is blind or its Netflix show is just as successful The ultimatum: to marry or proceed, The more those discussions are reminded of what is important in a long -lasting relationship.
“It’s almost like therapy, talking about it that way,” he continued. “So it’s been good.”
