How Matlock will change in season 2 after shocking reveals

Matlocwho first performed in September 2024, following a wealthy retired lawyer called Madeline Kingston (Bates), who pretends to be a bad widow named Matty Matock to get a job with Jacobson Moore’s legal company. As it happens, Matty thinks someone in the company is part of the opioid epidemic that led to her daughter’s death.

Before Season 1 ended In April, Olympia calculated that Matty was always lying to her. Olympia was not the one to blame for wellbrexa but her ex-husband Julian (Jason Ritter) was. She faced him about it before he begged her not to reveal her – not knowing she found the documents due to Matty’s mission in Jacobson Moore.

“You start to see people find the cracks and they go in. Then the vulnerability comes out and the hurt and pain. The trust must be rebuilt within all those glass walls,” Marshall told us. “Season 2, she breaks the grass and sees the snakes. The problem is, you can’t choose your snakes.”

Taking a break from film 2 filming, Marshall celebrated the innovative talent honor in the AAFCA.

“Honestly I’m just very emotional,” he told Us. “I’ve seen many women and men here who helped me along the way when no one knew my name and no one answered the calls. So to see them look at me and smile, I’ve been fighting back the tears.”

Matloc Returns to CBS on Sunday, October 12, at 8:30 pm ET before taking his regular slot on Thursday night on October 16. New episodes will stream the next day on Paramount+.
