NFL stars Dak Prescott and Jalen carter likely to be Expected to pay large fines After their viral spitting event now, according to a former footballer Isaac Rochell.
“Two NFL players spit on each other during a football match,” Rochell, 30, guessed in Friday, September 5, Tiktok Video. “They’re going to pay thousands of dollars for that.”
Prescott and Carter’s appropriate teams, the Dallas Cowboys and Philadelphia Eagles, began away from NFL 2025-2026 season on Thursday, September 5. At the start of the game, Prescott, 32, spit on Carter, 24, who return the gesture. (Prescott later denied spit on Carter directly.)
“Now what? How does the team see, (a) How does this affect Jalen Carter and its future?” Rochell, who retired from the NFL in 2024, said after seven seasons. “Is this going to affect his contract next year? Absolutely. The team is not going to look at it and that, like, ‘Oh, he’s a character man (and) we don’t want to pay.’ He just plays one game less than he would have played.
Rochell’s theory further that Carter will “make less money” if he sits out even one game as a punishment.
“Even if he has the best possible year, he still plays one less game he is healthy,” he said. “Will he have to pay a fine for this? The answer is.… If you think the organization wants to pay the $ 60,000 they already have for that game? No.”

“The Eagles Foundation (apparently) is not going to play for spitting on someone and sitting in the locker room,” he said. “He can be fined most fined for disadvantage to behavior, the game check.”
Carter was immediately thrown out of the game after the spitting incident.
“One of the officers (Jalen) observed spit on an opponent,” a referee Shawn Smith He told a correspondent after the game, who eventually won the Eagles 24-20. “It’s unclean that can be disqualified in the game. It’s an action other than football.”
Meanwhile, Prescott said at a Postgame Press Conference that Did not try to spit on Carter himself.
“I was just looking at (jalen) and I was here between two line men,” remembered the Cowboys Quarter. “I probably needed to spit, and I wasn’t going to spit on my line men, so just spit on. At that point, I felt it insults me. I wouldn’t spit on someone and I’m sure I’m not trying to spit on you, we’re trying to play a game.”
Carter has not addressed the event nor his game ejaculation in public.
